One week prior to appointment please start lotion the area to be tattooed 3 times a day. Keep your body hydrated. Stay away from Alcohol leading up to and during your appointment because as it dehydrates you and thins your blood. The day of your appointment it's important to be well rested and fed so your body can have the energy to get a tattoo. I recommend bringing snacks and drinks. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area to be tattooed. Treating your body well, being hydrated and having healthy soft skin makes your tattoo experience much more enjoyable.
Pain is subjective and varies from person to person, but most people describe it as a manageable discomfort.
